Another Follow Up of the Day: The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has released a video of the animals it was able to rescue from Terry Thompson’s Muskingum County Animal Farm in Zanesville.
The lucky six consist of three leopards, two Macaques, and a grizzly bear.
49 of the 56 exotic animals released by Thompson before his suicide were shot and killed by local authorities. A missing monkey is believed to have been eaten by one of the big cats.
Columbus Zoo and the Wilds are soliciting donations to help defray the costs associated with the relocation, care, and rehabilitation of the recovered animals. Click here for more.
